On the evening of October 5, 2019, 15th Medical Team of Malta went to Notte Bianca and attended the annual "Chinese Culture Street" held by the Chinese Culture Center.
The team members carried the exhibits into the Cultural Street at 5.00pm. Counsellor Zhou Shijie from Econimic and Commercial Counsellor's Office of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Malta came to express his appreciation for the medical team's free clinic activities and fully affirmed the significance of free clinic.
Four doctors of the medical team did acupuncture, massage, cupping, ear pressure and other diagnosis for free. Many of the inquirers were local patients with joint and lumbar pain, and their symptoms were alleviated after the treatmet. In addition, the red oil and Acu-point Model exhibited by the medical team also aroused the interest of people coming and going.
The medical team has not only excellent doctors, but also first-class chef. Chef Hua Zhong prepared delicious Chinese cuisine, which was welcomed by the visitors. Just like the Chinese medicine, Chinese food is also a "star product" in Malta.
In celebration of the 70th founding anniversary of the People's Republic of China, At 8:10, members of the medical team and all the people who arrived, sang the song‘My Motherland and Me’ together to our motherland.
That night, The team members forgot the tiredness of not having a rest for many days and worked until 1 o'clock in the morning,treated hundreds of people, which not only spread Chinese medicine culture in Malta once again, but also enhanced the friendship between the Chinese and Maltese people.
