At 19:00 p.m. on August 23, Malta time, the Mediterranean Regional Center for Traditional Chinese Medicine held an inauguration of a specialist clinic to manage pain specifically for neck, back, knee and shoulder, which is hosted by the 15th China Medical Team to Malta.
Counsellor Zhou Shijie from Econimic and Commercial Counsellor's Office of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Malta the Chinese culture center Director Yang Xiaolong of the Chinese Cultural Center, President Ji Nengwen of Confucius Institute, General Manager Cai Yuran of Shanghai Electric Power (Malta), Mayor Dominic Grima of Paola Vice Mayor Frederick Cutajar of St. Lucija as well as Ms. Bernadette Spiteri, Director of the Maltese Board and the members of the 15th China Medical Team to Malta attended.
Ms. Bernadette Spiteri said that it was a new starting point for Mediterranean Regional Center for Traditional Chinese Medicine, she hoped that the China Medical Team would provide more professional TCM services for patients with neck, back, knee and shoulder pain in the future.
Geng Tao, director of the 15th China Medical Team to Malta, on behalf of all members, expressed his gratitude to the people who provided their help and support to the specialist clinic. He said the team would serve Maltese patients better through specialized clinics in the future.

is very important, which is very significant for the further work of the integration of Traditional Chinese and Western medicine. The 15th China Medical Team have made a great progress in a short period time by creating such a good platform, I hope that they will do a better job in the future.
At last, Counsellor Zhou Shijie, Director Geng Tao and Director Bernadette Spiteri unveiled the brand together. Participants took a group photo as the ceremony ended successfully.
It is the first specialist clinic in Mediterranean Regional Center for Traditional Chinese Medicine. The process has not been smooth; our team has gone through a difficult process.
When at China, according to the previous experience of the medical team, patients with neck, back, knee and shoulder are very common in Malta so we put forward the idea at the board meeting and finally got the support of Mr. Clarence Pace, Chairman of the board. In order to get more help and support, Director Geng Tao kept actively contacting relevant units and department and received strong support and selfless help, and Malta National TV also interviewed and reported this event.
This Inauguration will be a historical moment.
In the future, the 15th China Medical Team to Malta will continue its efforts to make good use of the platform to serve Maltese patients and enhance the friendship between Maltese and Chinese.
